1. Applicability

These Terms & Conditions apply to all quotations, agreements, and services provided by Jeroen Inc. (KvK 53471601, VAT NL002176914B04), based at Leidekkerssteeg 1, 1012 GH Amsterdam, the Netherlands.

By approving a quotation or confirming an assignment in writing (including email approval), the client agrees to these Terms & Conditions, and confirms having received them before or at the time the agreement is made.

2. Services

Jeroen Inc. provides professional creative and technical post-production services, including:

  • Color grading and finishing
  • Editing
  • Video production
  • Camera operation and directing
  • Post-production consulting
  • Technical mastering and deliverables

All services are performed with professional care and expertise, based on the agreed project scope and requirements.

3. Rates

The standard hourly rate is:

€150 per hour excluding VAT

This rate applies to all work unless otherwise agreed in a quotation or fixed project fee.

Project-based pricing may be offered depending on the estimated time, complexity, and required deliverables.

Rates may be adjusted periodically. Any applicable rate will always be confirmed before the start of an assignment.

4. Quotations & Project Scope

All quotations are based on the information available at the time of preparation.

A quotation becomes an agreement once approved by the client.

If the project scope, deliverables, timeline, or requirements change, additional work may be charged separately.

We will always communicate any significant changes in scope or costs as clearly as possible.

5. Additional Work

Work outside the agreed project scope will be charged at the standard hourly rate unless otherwise agreed. This may include:

  • Additional versions or deliverables
  • Additional revision rounds
  • Changes after final approval
  • Re-editing or re-grading previously approved work
  • Additional exports, mastering, or technical requirements
  • Rush requests or last-minute changes

6. Revisions & Approval

Unless otherwise agreed, projects include two rounds of revisions.

Revision rounds are intended for creative adjustments and refinements within the original agreed scope.

Additional revisions, substantial creative changes, or changes after approval may be charged at the standard hourly rate.

Once the final version has been approved, further adjustments will be considered a new request.

7. Deliverables & Technical Specifications

Final deliverables are created according to the specifications agreed at the start of the project.

The client is responsible for providing accurate materials, references, and technical requirements.

Additional exports, formats, masters, versions, DCP creation, technical adjustments, or deliverables requested after completion may be charged separately.

8. Delivery & Deadlines

Delivery timelines are agreed based on the availability of required materials, feedback, and approvals.

We always aim to meet agreed deadlines, but delays caused by late materials, delayed feedback, changes in scope, or circumstances outside reasonable control may affect delivery schedules.

9. Payment Terms

Invoices are normally issued after completion of the agreed work, unless otherwise specified.

For larger productions, longer assignments, or new clients, a deposit (typically 50% of the estimated project fee) may be requested before work begins.

Payment is requested within 14 days of the invoice date.

If payment is delayed, we may charge statutory interest and reasonable collection costs.

Final deliverables may be withheld until full payment has been received.

For larger productions or longer assignments, alternative payment arrangements may be agreed in advance.

10. Cancellation

If a project is cancelled, Jeroen Inc. may charge for:

  • Work already completed
  • Expenses already incurred
  • Third-party costs
  • Time reserved for the project that cannot reasonably be reassigned

As a general guideline: cancellations more than 7 days before the agreed start date may incur a partial fee (around 25%), cancellations within 7 days may incur up to 50%, and cancellations within 48 hours of the start date, or after work has begun, are typically charged in full.

We will always aim to find a fair solution together with the client.

11. Intellectual Property & Project Files

Final deliverables are provided to the client according to the agreed usage and delivery requirements.

Project files, working files, workflows, templates, and technical processes remain the property of Jeroen Inc. unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Final usage rights transfer to the client after full payment has been received. Unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing, this means a license to use the deliverables for their intended purpose, rather than a transfer of copyright.

12. Portfolio & Confidentiality

Unless otherwise agreed, Jeroen Inc. may showcase completed projects for portfolio, website, presentations, and promotional purposes.

Confidential information, unreleased work, and embargoed projects will always be respected.

13. Additional Costs

Pricing is based on the services provided directly by Jeroen Inc.

Additional costs such as external specialists, rentals, licenses, studio costs, or other third-party expenses will always be discussed and quoted separately.

14. Liability

Jeroen Inc. provides services with professional care and expertise.

We are not responsible for indirect damages such as loss of revenue, profit, business opportunities, or data.

Any liability is limited to the amount invoiced for the specific assignment.

This limitation does not apply in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

15. Force Majeure

Jeroen Inc. is not responsible for delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, such as illness, technical failures, power or internet outages, or other events of force majeure.

If such a situation continues for a longer period, we’ll discuss the best way forward together, which may include adjusting the schedule or ending the assignment for the work already completed by that point.

16. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.

In the unlikely event of a dispute, we will first try to resolve the matter through mutual agreement. If that’s not possible, disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
