When on New Year’s Day 2025, the iconic red Postcode Lottery truck rolls into the usually quiet Overijssel village of Balkbrug, the town is suddenly thrown into turmoil. In this documentary, we follow the residents in the months that follow, observing how sudden wealth reshapes daily life, relationships, and longheld values. As the initial excitement fades and reality sets in, one question remains: can a close-knit community hold on to its cherished, down-to-earth character?
